In this paper we introduce the experimentation system designed for relational database management system efficiency measurement. We consider the efficiency as a speed of processing queries expressed in transactions per second (TPS). The proposed experimentation system consists of the set of dedicated MySQL client programs. Our software enables formation of random SQL queries which meet the user defined restrictions on distribution and frequency. Our software simulates server load and measures the speed of processing clients requests. The experiments performed with using our software show a working pattern of the very popular, especially in internet applications, MySQL database management system.
