Network Planning and Optimizing, Effective Radio Coverage, System-level Simulation, Evaluation Index 1.
Owing to the rapid increase of cellular mobile network and the scare of radio resource, network planning and optimizing is getting more and more important. There into determining the effective radio coverage is one of the basal problems in network planning and optimizing. Aiming at the method of determining radio coverage based on field stress prediction, in this paper we propose a new user-oriented method of determining effective radio coverage. The method proposed in this paper can give more precise coverage than that based on transmission performance. We develop simulation system according to this strategy, which had been applied in network planning and optimizing software, and get good results.
