Abstract

This paper reports the progress of a research aims to cre ate a framework that would allow the representation of Cyberlaw information available on the World Wide Web in knowledge-structured form. The framework wanders the World Wide Web for Cyberlaw information and extracts text and hypertextual properties that will be employed for inferring concepts and relations useful for knowledge representation. This knowledge base would have many uses ranging from providing more effective information retrieval using natural language to much more complex situation like knowledge-based inference and problem solving.
