: G-S-G type, Interconnects, Optimum Design
A new interconnect structure called multi-segment G S-G (Ground-Signal-Ground) interconnects is introduced and a method is presented to optimum designing them. The interconnect is subdivided into some basic structures (cells) including a signal strip surrounded by two strips grounded at some points along their lengths. The method is being evaluated using some examples.
