This paper focuses on minimizing human interaction during activation and registration of commercial software, hence removing the human element from the piracy equation. We moved away from the traditional means of controlling access to software, which involved sales and licensing and investigated fragmenting the software product to prevent piracy. We analyzed the problem of software licensing and provide a Mobile Agent based solution.
