Cylinder Head, Intake, Flow, Engine, PortShape
This report will investigate how the shape of a cylinder head port effects the flow of the port and the horsepower and the torque of the engine. We will investigate two port shapes, the stock port shape which is round and a modified port shape which is approximently an upside down triangle. From airflow data and in car testing a direct relationship will be demonstrated between the shape of the port and the performance characteristics of the engine.
