Abstract

In this paper, a simple theoretical analysis of p2p swarming content delivery system is implemented and the optimal system download time is worked out. The results show that the parallel p2p download can yield the non parallel download if the delivery is arranged well. But in real application, the optimal download time is nearly impossible to achieve. So simulation analysis is needed. This paper implements intensive simulation of basic p2p swarming content delivery system under different critical parameters settings, the simulation results shows the p2p swarming system can perform well under high bandwidth connection, uniform startup distribution and appreciate block sizes, etc. And the p2p swarm content delivery system can scale well with nodes size and the content size.
