Only few testing approaches consider specification as well as implementation of the software under test, although an integrated consideration can have several benefits. This pa per shows that an integrated consideration is feasible and gives a concrete approach. This approach mainly consists of combining the CSIG model (a model integrating speci fication and implementation of classes) and the BINTEST algorithm (an algorithm for path-oriented test case genera tion), which allows integrated generation of specification and program-based test cases in class-level testing.
