MANET, routing, bridging method
A bridging method, which is developed in the data link layer, is designed as an intra-domain routing protocol to provide efficient routing functionality for mobile ad hoc networks. The performance of this bridging method is evaluated and compared with the AODV routing protocol. The results show that, the packet delivery ratio of the bridging method is higher than that of AODV protocol. How ever, the bridging method incurs higher routing overhead at low network load.
