ION FLEXIBILITY IN A COLLABORATIVE INFRASTRUCTURE Vassil Roussev Department of Computer Science University of New Orleans New Orleans, LA 70148 +1 504 280 2405 [email protected] ABSTRACT In this paper, we define the notion of abstraction flexibility in the context of collaborative infrastructures and examine its effects on the level of collaboration awareness and code reuse in the supported applications. This work is a logical continuation of our previous experience presented in [10], however, here our efforts are specifically focused on exam ining in depth of the issue of abstraction flexibility using an updated version of our collaborative infrastructure. We use a running example of a simple outline application to illus trate our discussion and to compare our work to that of related systems.
