. XML has been recently adopted as a technology to transfer information between web applications. It is also an alternative to integrate information between heterogeneous databases due to platform independence and portability. On the other hand, relational databases stores most of the information managed by companies, therefore, SQL is used by database developers. This paper proposes the development of a component to inquiry XML documents through SQL statements and to generate XML views.
