Abstract

: A main disadvantage of multicarrier modulation is that it exhibits a high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR). This paper uses seven sequences as the spread code, thus reducing MC-CDMA signal PAPR and analyzes the PAPR and BER performances of seven systems in multipath channel. Simulation results show that corresponding to the simulation parameters, using Zadoff-Chu or CInewman code in uplink as spreading sequence, and Walsh-Hadmard code in downlink, the PAPR of MC-CDMA system is less than 7dB, and BER is less than 1E-4 when SNR is 30dB.
