Abstract

The capacity and the interference statistics (mean and variance) of the sectors of the cigarshaped W-CDMA microcells are studied. A model of five micro-cells is used to analyze the uplink. The capacity and the interference statistics of the microcell are studied for different antenna sidelobe levels and different break point distance. From the study we can distinguish between two extreme cases (the best case and the worst one).
