IT projects, EU projects, case-study, systemic problems, synergetic effect
The article discusses a number of the systemic problems of the contemporary EU projects in the field of the information technologies and mobile distributed computing. The problems are shown from the viewpoints of the funding organization, the project consortium and the development of the system. The aim of the article is to streamline and to intensify the future EU projects in view of the environmental, geopolitical, organization, technological and scientific challenges. Some constructive recommendations have been proposed.
