This paper deals with the problem of content management in a network of embedded systems. Examples of such networks are those commonly found in car or marine systems. We introduce the concept of using Mixer, a novel helper tool that is based on a template engine design philosophy for the content management in a network of embedded systems. In this paper we present a way to manage diagnostics data and build a remote diagnostics service by utilizing Mixer. Our hardware platform is based on the TINI-platform developed by Dallas Semiconductor.
