Security, trust management, modeling and simulation, in telligent agents.
Recent research in the field of security has evolved to trust issues, which are now one of important research topics, especially in the field of agents and mobile technologies. A majority of current approaches proposes techniques that support users' trust processes, while a minority of them ad dresses the essence of trust. The latter ones form the basis for the work presented in this paper, where the phenomenon of trust is formalized and modeled on the level of inner pro cesses and social interactions. The goal is to provide a basis for computable trust that can be used for simulations and contemporary internet based applications.
