Software Reliability Model, Logistic Distribution, Non Homogeneous Poisson Processes, EM Algorithms
This paper treats two logistic software reliability models called the inflection S-shaped model and the log-logistic model, and develops an efficient iterative scheme to calcu late the maximum likelihood estimates of the model pa rameters, via the EM (expectation-maximization) princi ple. Numerical examples are devoted to illustrate the ef fectiveness of the estimation algorithms proposed in this paper.
