Abstract

In this article the techniques used to implement a new generation learning management system based on business object , Java language capabilities and TCP-IP based LMS communication is presented. Also, the features of this new Java platform is outlined, focusing on the modularity structure of the platform itself and on its possibility to cooperate, in native modality, with other platforms of the same family available on the net through a service of platform directory. In this content are also shown the results of the benchmark of the platform, in order to demonstrate its high performances characteristics.
