Abstract

We show the current implementation of a logic framework for the definition of on-line courses tailored over the indi vidual needs of different learners. Once we specify the target knowledge and the start ing knowledge, associated with a given student, a course is built by connecting several small didactic modules, called learning components. We use propositional logic to repre sent the knowledge involved in the starting and target spec ifications and in the learning components. A prototype Prolog implementation of the framework and of its web-based graphic interface is shown. Sample uses of the prototype are demonstrated.
