Modeling of a Nonlinear Synthetic Jet Actuator

This paper presents the development of a nonlinear model for a high power, compact synthetic jet actuator (SJA) for flow separation control. Then, simulations of the newly developed open loop nonlinear model are carried out by using MATLAB. It will provide a basis for further development of an effective feedback control for the SJA, in which a dynamic model is needed.
