Dialogue systems, human-computer interaction, algebraic approach to user modeling, modeling emotions and personalities.
The paper summarizes and briefly discusses some formal models that can be used in research related to dialogues and dialogues systems. The presented approach is based on universal algebra and the theory of formal languages and automata. Some open problems related to the discussed topics are formulated.
