Expert system, knowledge-based system, decisionsupport, rough set theory, data matching.
The rough set theory can be applied to knowledge acquisition from imprecise data. The knowledge is represented in a form of decision rules. The data is organized in a decision table, where objects are represented by rows and attributes by columns. Some objects can be improper. A coefficient of credibility for objects is proposed and discussed. The coefficient is a measure of matching the given object to the information system. Objects with low values of coefficient of credibility may be considered as improper and can be detached (from the information system).
