A Computation Approach of Formal Linearization for Time-variant Nonlinear Systems and its Application to Nonlinear Filter

In this paper we consider a computation approach of a formal linearization method for a general class of time-variant nonlieanr systems. We introduce a linearizing function which is composed of the Chebyshev polynomials and exploit Chebyshev interpolation to the state variable and Laguerre interpolation to the time variable. As a result, time-variant linear systems with respect to a linearizing function whose computer computation is considerably easy are obtained. As an application, we ynthesize a time-variant nonlinear filter. Numerical experiments are also included to demonstrate the validity of these linearization and filter.
