Ocean Acoustic Tomography is attracting great attention because of its usefulness for oceanographic survey. However, errors in calculation are unavoidable with the past algorithm because the available information is insufficient. Therefore, a new method utilizing a multiple wavelet model is proposed. The method can be applied to an image corresponding to a large image size with high resolution using relatively little projection data. The wavelet sampling model, multiple wavelets sampling, and SVD are used in this method. We can obtain excellent reconstructed images through computer simulations.
