plant growth, message, Juvenile energy, diversity
Most of the plant models based on L-systems or particle systems have focused on visually correct shape of the plant. In other words, the interaction between the plant and its environment was treated as secondary importance. However, it is clear that many factors such as CO2, sunlight, etc. have crucial influence on the growth of plants. Those interactions between the plant and its environment in virtual environment will make the plant more natural in diverse situations so that users will be immersed in system. In this paper we introduce message method to send environmental factors to a plant and define juvenile energy to reflect those interactions. This approach can be used to computer games, tutoring system, etc.
