Abstract

An Active Noise Control (ANC) system for an advanced mobile headset system is designed and tested. The FIR sys tem identifications of the primary and secondary paths are carried out based on raw laboratory data. The Least-Mean Square based algorithms are employed for computation of the adaptive ANC filters. Simulation tests using raw data show the promising potential of the ANC technique for im provement of the mobile communication quality.
