Face animation, face visualization, virtual reality, avatar, morphing
In current virtual reality applications we no more want empty and cold worlds, we want to have some life in them and therefore need avatars. Animation and visualization of human body is an old goal of computer graphics. Avatars with "face of stone" are not enough, today we want characters and persons with own soul or at least with some expression in it's or his/her face. This paper proposes a approach to achieving realistic and real-time face animation, with low computing power and low memory requirements. The goal is to have believable face, even though not accurate lip-sync.
