Artificial Intelligence- Cognitive Science - Representationchanges - Insight
Close interaction between Artificial Intelligence research and Cognitive Science theory has resulted in new conceptions about the possibilities of a computer simulation of human intelligent attitudes. Thorough consideration of the Mutilated Checkerboard problem leads to a proposal concerning a theoretical construction based on representation patterns and representation changes that may be regarded as insight. Following this theoretical construction, an overview of a suitable computer programme for the simulation and explanation of insight is included.
