Abstract

: This paper describes an on-line controller for the fast and flexible control of HVDC transmission link based on fuzzy logic and ANN technology. Compared with the traditional PI controller and the off-line ANN controller, this controller has more robust stability, and responses more quickly, and has self-study ability. Simulation results acquired by using NETOMAC software show that the controller can improve the stability of HVDC systems.
