Harmonic Interaction in Non-linear Devices

In this paper, the models of four nonlinear devices (discharge lamps, single and threephase uncontrolled AC/DC converters and threephase controlled AC/DC converters) are presented. Each model provides the device current and its harmonic decomposition considering fundamental and harmonic voltages at the load connecting point. These models have been programmed in a MATLAB program. This program has been used to study the harmonic voltage dependence of these nonlinear devices.
