Abstract

. This work presents the frequency selective fading evaluation of several indoor environments; the analysis was made over measurements carried out with a sounder at 300 MHz bandwidth. A description of the sounder used in the measurements is given. Also, the performance of the sounder regarding Doppler and delay spread resolution is given. The 300 MHz bandwidth of the sounder is divided in segments as small as 600 kHz to perform the evaluation. Plots are provided for a number of locations in four different environments. It is also shown how the variation of the signal level due to frequency selective fading is within certain limits regarding the adjacent frequency segments on the bandwidth.
