Code numbers are widely used for personal identification in computer networks. However, the risk of a code number is large. When biometric information such as a fingerprint is used, there is a problem of forgery input using a fake fingerprint pattern. A new method for personal identification to input a code number using a sequence of fingerprints is proposed in this paper. The proposed method improves the security for using fingerprints on computer access. The proposed method is independent from fingerprint recognition algorithms and fingerprint sensors.
