Abstract

We are developing CCSS (Constructive Conversation Support System), which aims to support conversation and discussions in e-based collaborative learning by enabling learners to recognize the relations among utterance guided by prompting statements. CCSS will be used by elementary or junior-high school students in lectures with some experience. Thus, CCSS runs on both conventional PCs and Personal Data Assistant (PDA) equipments together with wireless LAN client-server environments. The paper describes the basic principles and its implementation.
