Genetic algorithms, Geophysics Observations
This paper presents a genetic-algorithm (GA) based tool for supporting Geophysics observations. The goal of the GA is to select a good layout for perturbation transmitters and receptors in order to obtain better results from the observation of the Earth's sub-surface. On a good observation layout, the linear equations obtained from a series of observations have a minimum linear dependency degree.
