The introduction in the University curricula of the new models of the complexity and chaos finds its right collocation in a course of Applied Mathematics, that pursues the aim of presenting, planning and in some case developing mathematical instruments and methods useful in applicative contexts. The on-line course of Applied Mathematics, described in this paper, proposes, in a new way, topics like nonlinear dynamic systems, chaos theory and fractals highlighting teaching on-line and the use of simulations, with the aim of creating a learning environment which allows the exploration of the main characteristics of these new models through computational models.
