Web-based video editing, hyperstructure, metada
Our investigation in this paper explores the nature of the web-based non-linear hypervideo editing systems. We propose the apparatus for the editing of remote multimedia resources (video clips, music files) including usage of video effects and transitions. We overview the advantages of using hyperstructures for multimedia editing: rendering optimization, and flexible control of this editing process. Syntax and language semantics of the used hyperstructures are given along with explanatory samples. We also introduce a principal architecture of user computer interaction for web based video editing systems.
