According to the rapid growth of internet use, the user can acquire the information obtained from web based retrieval systems. Besides, as information resources are increasing, the method of providing them to special users has been researched and developed. Specially, we had developed the Science and Technology Information Systems for providing provide the science and technology information and resource to scientists, engineers, professors, students, etc. In this paper, we describe the XML based science and technology information systems using KRISTAL and the important factor to develop the systems.
