To realize the society with ubiquitous service, it is impor tant to consider the daily life of users who belong to the local community. In our study, firstly, for a small-scaled regional community, we implemented a virtual community system which supports integrated information service of the community. Secondly, by using this system, we ex amined the effective knowledge sharing in the community from the point of view of technical and social approaches. Thirdly, we propose a framework of using local currency to promote integrated community service of both social and business communities.
