: As Web applications become more complex, developers look for more systematic ways to build quality applications with minimum effort. We propose here a methodology that focuses on producing a design solution for an abstract architecture based on the model-view controller pattern. Since the description is high level it is platform independent, but because the chosen architecture is very close to the way most quality Web applications are designed the resulting model it is still easy to implement in any concrete Web platform. The model is built by a combination of well known techniques and expressed in standard UML language.
