Abstract

This paper presents a new approach to evaluating performance of real-time component based software by introducing a new measure called software sensitivity. The measure is based on the evaluation of relative changes in the number of missed deadlines when their lengths are being decreased. Experimental results were obtained for the satellite ground control station's tracking component developed at the Florida Space Institute.
