Abstract

: A new sensor network data processing architecture is proposed here for enabling bandwidth management and facilitating parallel processing. In this architecture, the requirement of a sensor data processing system is decomposed into several independent processes and the architecture facilitates the parallel execution and efficient composition of these decomposed processes, which makes the whole architecture highly reliable and scalable. This architecture can also achieve automated control of the sensor assets as well as automated control for achieving high accuracy and sensitivity. The paper develops the details of this architecture and evaluates it for real-time command and control systems.
