Continuous streams, Data Stream Management Systems.
This work concerns the processing of fast evolving data streams in relational database management systems. The paper introduces a concept of data stream as a new method of information, and describes the areas of potential applications of the new technology. This research investigates the ways of adoption of a classical relational database management system to the processing of unlimited data streams and discusses the performance of the proposed solution.
