Abstract

This article presents and evaluates the current techniques to measure and visualize the flatness of two-dimensional elastic products, such as steel strips. This work deals with on-line and off-line visualization techniques. On-line techniques are used during the manufacturing of the strips to control and supervise the manufacturing process, and off-line techniques are used after manufacturing, mainly for quality control purposes.
