Data treatment and visualization, Rongorongo, Image cor pus and text corpus
This paper focuses on separation and identification of glyphs of undeciphered script. Especially, our target is Rongorongo which is remained in Easter Island. Some problems on separating and identifying Rongorongo glyphs are presented. To certify manually the correspondence of image to code, a tools is developed. The tool is for divid ing image corpus into rectangular areas of each character, for assigning code to the areas and for extracting computer readable text corpus.
