In multiagent systems a key success factor is the agent com munication language (ACL). The most current trend is to use speech act-based ACLs like FIPA ACL. However such ACLs are semantically too rigid since they impose strong preconditions on both sender and receiver mental states. We present a new approach based on two pairs of synchro nized primitives evolving into a flexible and block-struc tured, dynamic ACL. This language provides a framework for deploying mobile communicating agents in software en gineering facing complexity.
