E-business, Component Based Architecture
This paper presents an investigation of planning, analysis and design of an e-business framework utilising component-based software engineering. An evaluation of successful existing proprietary components and frameworks supporting e-business applications has been conducted. An e-business framework has been developed based on business process reengineering of an enterprise. Infrastructures, processes and modelling techniques, which allow the migration of organisations to e-business have been investigated. A set of guidelines on shifting to e-business applying components and business modelling has been proposed.
