mobile agent, security, certification
In general, mobile agent system has two security prob lems which cannot be overcome by general counter measures for the Internet security. One is that, since an authority manages all hosts over the network in the existing certification method, its processing load be comes higher and higher as the network widely spread. The other is that it is difficult to find out a malicious host which has spoofed the execution context of an agent since the execution context varies during execu tion. In this paper, we propose an agent certification method with load sharing. In addition, we also pro pose a method to find out a malicious host which has spoofed the execution context of an agent. Finally, by prototyping, we show that the proposed methods provide efficient certification and secure environment.
