In recent years, the demand for high-speed data commu nication has been increasing. A data compression method with low resources and high-speed is necessary for high speed data communication. We have proposed the Logi cal Triangle Method for this requirement. This is a cod ing method which enables the derivation of code word on demand by an operator. In this paper, we report on the implementation of our method on a Programmable Logic Device (PLD). In addition, we evaluated our encoder on PLD. As a result, we confirmed that our method can realize high-speed coding with a small scale encoder.
