Bluetooth, performance, piconet, cycle time, transfer delay,packet loss
This paper analyzes the performance of a Bluetooth piconet in noise environments. The average cycle time of a Blue tooth piconet and the average transfer delay of a packet are adopted as the performance measures. The analytic forms of those performance measures are drawn using the prob abilistic method. A simple round robin (RR) scheduling policy with an exhaustive service is used. Packet loss is considered because of noise environments. Numerical re sults have been presented. Simulation is performed to vali date the correctness of analysis.
