Keywords

All-pass filter, log-domain filter.

Abstract

A first-order log-domain all-pass filter has been designed and simulated in CMOS based on the well-known design of a log-domain low-pass filter. This filter is designed for low-power, low-frequency applications such as speech/audio processing, delay equalizers and adaptive filtering applications. Simulations predict that the power consumption of the filter will be about 0.9 W. The all pass filter's magnitude response stays constant up to 50kHz.
